About

I am a professional photographer based in Budapest, Hungary. I capture personal storytelling series for individuals and brands.
I started to photograph with a small point and shoot  camera in 2006. Shooting tens of thousands photos through all these years I realised that I’m not interested in just taking “pretty pictures“, l’art pour l’art. What I really want instead is to be a chronicler, to tell the stories of the people I meet. Analog film taught me limitations and handling colour. I am truly inspired by golden age Hollywood classics, old Technicolor movies and cinema from the 50-80s. I shoot with vintage lenses to get that soft film look. I am constantly exploring the borders of reality and the mundane vs art and abstraction in documentary, editorial and fashion photography. I don't like to pose my subjects, I seek connection with them, the deeper meaning and their intimate stories, I shooting for the candid, real moments. I embrace imperfection in my subjects and my photos: blurry nostalgic images that would be deleted normally are my favourites.
I work with brands, entrepreneurs, artists, designers, model agencies, event organisers and real estate, shooting narrative series, environmental portraiture and visual branding, mainly working with those who also share the value in what before mentioned.
